For the next few days I will be posting articles about the main characters you will see in the upcoming season, from faces we've seen since the first season to ones we'll be introduced to once season seven begins.

**THERE WILL BE SHOW AND COMIC SPOILERS!**

You have been warned.  If you want to keep reading, do so in knowing that I will be divulging comic book and television show spoilers.  Information was derived from personal comic book readings, show watching, The Walking Dead wiki and imdb.com.

**SERIOUSLY, SPOILERS WILL ABOUND
FROM HERE ON OUT**

Sasha Williams: The Comics
Sasha does not appear in the comics, and her character was created solely due to how impressed they were at Sonequa Martin-Green's audition for Michonne.

Sasha Williams: The Television Series
Sasha is a fierce, pragmatic and scarred woman who's a dead-eye with a gun.  She is extremely practical and leans toward the most logical decision, and beneath her rough exterior lies compassion and loyalty to her friends.  She has strong morals but questions the safety of other survivors and shows great leadership qualities.  She has an older brother named Tyreese who she used to follow around and copy as a child.  They grew up in Jacksonville, Florida and raised by their disciplined father, who was a war veteran, and she worked as a firefighter.

After the apocalypse she joined a group with Tyreese who made it to the prison, where they leave after Rick suffers a mental breakdown and end up at Woodbury.  There, she is given the job of a wall patrol guard and eventually joins Rick's group again after finding out the Governor killed several of his own men.

As she spent time at the prison, she becomes a member of the prison council who shared leadership of the group and also gets sick from a deadly virus spreading through the prison.  She survives and takes part in trying to protect the prison from the Governor, but flees with Maggie and Bob.

On the road to Terminus, she begins a relationship with Bob, and after escaping they make it to Gabriel's church, where Bob is taken by the Terminus cannibals who eat his leg before being informed by Bob that he had been bitten earlier.  He is returned to Rick's group and dies, and Tyreese puts him down.  This takes a mental toll on Sasha, but it only becomes greater after Tyreese dies on the road to DC, and she becomes suicidal and doesn't care for the well-being of herself or others.

At Alexandria, she suffers from PTSD and doesn't understand how the citizens can be so cheerful and happy with the world ending around them, but she snaps out of it after a talk with Michonne and Rosita, and after beginning a relationship with Abraham.  She rebounds from her PTSD and becomes a vital member of the community, serving as their sharpshooter.  She is on the road with the group when they're taken by Negan.

Why Sasha Could Die
Sasha isn't a fully developed character yet, and is more refined to the background.  However, as of late, her character has been given meatier substances, such as dealing with her brother's death and her new relationship with Abraham, so she could meet the bat.

Why Sasha Won't Die
Sasha is still a relatively unknown character whose death won't be as gripping to the audience as others in the group.  Plus if they follow the comics Negan doesn't kill women.

Sasha Williams: The Actress
Sonequa Martin-Green was born March 21, 1985 in Russellville, Alabama.  She graduated from the University of Alabama in 2007 with a degree in theatre, and moved to New York City where she met her husband.  They settled in California and gave birth to a baby boy, and has appeared in other television series such as "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," "Army Wives," "The Good Wife," "Gossip Girl," and "Once Upon a Time."
