Worst2First:  My Top Ten Historically Inaccurate Films When you see the words "based on a true story" at the beginning of a film, that doesn't always mean it's the real true story.  Hollywood loves to take liberties with reality and turn it into something more entertaining for the audiences, and while there's certain moments of truth in these stories, there's also a lot of fictitious facts made to make it more appealing. Here are my personal top ten historically inaccurate films, worst2first... **THERE WILL BE SPOILERS,  SO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!** #10 Captain Phillips Based on the true story of the hijacking of the Maersk Alabama by Somali pirates in 2009, "Captain Phillips" painted the captain in a truly heroic light, in a powerful performance by Tom Hanks.  However, based on crew members' take on the event, the captain was far from heroic.  He had ignored several safety protocols and sailed too close to the coa

Worst2First:  My Top Ten Films  Where the Main Character Dies There's no bigger surprise in film than to see a main character that you've grown to love - or despise - bite the dust.  It's not something typical, and when it happens, it leaves a memorable imprint in your brain. Here are my personal top ten films where the main character dies, worst2first... **THERE WILL BE SPOILERS!  OBVIOUSLY!** #10 Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Since it takes place between Episodes 1-3 and 4-6, one would expect the inevitable - especially since none of the characters are mentioned in future "Star Wars" films.  Still, it's quite a shock when every main character meets their untimely end by the credits, including Felicity Jones' Jyn Erso. #9  V for Vendetta Set in a dystopian future, "V for Vendetta" centers round the mysterious V, who plans to take down the fascist regime.  During his fight, V is shot and dies, and his b
