The Walking Dead Characters:
Aaron
"The Walking Dead" will enter its seventh season on October 23, and after leaving on a massive cliffhanger, excitement and anticipation are at all time highs.
For the next few days I will be posting articles about the main characters you will see in the upcoming season, from faces we've seen since the first season to ones we'll be introduced to once season seven begins.

**THERE WILL BE SHOW AND COMIC SPOILERS!**

You have been warned.  If you want to keep reading, do so in knowing that I will be divulging comic book and television show spoilers.  Information was derived from personal comic book readings, show watching, The Walking Dead wiki and imdb.com.

**SERIOUSLY, SPOILERS WILL ABOUND
FROM HERE ON OUT**

Aaron: The Comics
Aaron is the first Alexandrian to be introduced in the comics, served as a recruiter for Alexandria, and is Eric's boyfriend.  He would go out and find groups and approach them unarmed and ask for them to join, if it went bad Eric would kill them.  He has a calm and friendly demeanor, but is very afraid of blood.  He meets Rick's group while on the road and brings them to Alexandria, and then they stop recruiting after Eric gets stabbed.  He joins Rick in fighting against the Saviors, and Eric is shot and killed at the Savior outpost.  He vows revenge against the Saviors, and actively participates in the all out war.  He then joins the Herd Crew with Eugene, Rosita, Heath and Jesus, and they lure hordes away from Hilltop, the Kingdom and Alexandria.  During the Whisperer war, he gets stabbed by Beta and recuperates.

Aaron: The Television Series
Before the apocalypse, Aaron worked with the NGO where he met his boyfriend Eric.  Affable, good-natured and adventurous, he's passionate about people and the good they can do.  He puts himself in danger if he believes something positive can come from it, and was often mistreated and ostracized for being openly gay, even being abused by his mother.  He sees the good in people even though they're offensive, a good judge of character and very altruistic, as well as having a good sense of humor and overly optimistic.

Aaron serves as a recruiter for Alexandria, along with his boyfriend Eric.  He also is an avid photographer and would collect memorabilia from the places he's visited, as well as collect license plates.  While they went on recruiting missions, Aaron would approach groups unarmed, and if things went bad Eric would kill them.

He finds Rick's group on the road, and while they were weary at first of his offer, they accept the invitation to join Alexandria.  There he befriends Daryl, whom he sees as an outsider like himself.  When Eric gets injured, he offers the recruiting job to Daryl, and the two set out to find new people.  He helps defend the town against the Wolves, and discovers that some of his pictures led them to Alexandria, and feels guilt over it.  While Glenn was missing, he helped comfort Maggie and went out with her to find him, and assisted in eliminating the horde in Alexandria.  He travels with the group to Hilltop when they're ambushed and taken captive by Negan.

Why Aaron Could Die
Since Rick's group arrived at Alexandria, the town has endured some extreme downsizing.  Pretty much everyone who died last season was Alexandrian residents (Reg, Peter, Deanna, Jessie, Ron, Sam, Holly, Denise, Barbara, countless others), and Aaron is the only original Alexandrian facing Lucille.

Why Aaron Won't Die
Aaron's death could be seen as a huge letdown while everyone anticipated all summer to loose someone we really cared about.  He hasn't had much airtime and his death could be seen as a cop-out since it'd just be another Alexandrian to die.

Aaron: The Actor
Ross Marquand was born August 22, 1981 in Fort Collins, Colorado.  He is an accomplished voice-over actor and known for being a great impersonator, impersonating the likes of Harrison Ford, James Gandolfini, Brad Pitt, Kevin Spacey and several others.
