400 Days Starring Brandon Routh, Caity Lotz, Ben Feldman, Dane Cook Directed by Matt Osterman The Story: Theo Cooper (Brandon Routh), Emily McTier (Caity Lotz), Bug Kieslowski (Ben Feldman) and Cole Dvorak (Dane Cook) are enlisted to participate in a government experiment: live in an underground bunker for 400 days to test the long-term effects of space travel.  As the days drag on, the astronauts experience hallucinations, fights, and other psychological effects that threaten their sanity.  When a stranger appears in the bunker with them, they discover another hatch to the outside world, and decide to investigate.  What they find isn't what they expected, but is it all a hallucination? The Divergent Series: Allegiant Starring Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort Directed by Robert Schwentke The Story: After the events of "Insurgent," the citizens of Chicago find themselves still stuck behind the wall, now being commanded by Evelyn (Naomi Watts), who wants to bring to justice those who oppressed them.  Meanwhile, Tris (Shailene Woodley) and Four (Theo James) are planning on leaving the city to see what else lies beyond, and travels with Peter (Miles Teller), Caleb (Ansel Elgort), Christina (Zoe Kravitz) and Tori (Maggie Q) to scale the wall and see what lies on the other side. They discover that the world has been pretty much destroyed, but then finds a cloaked city known as the Bureau of Genetic Warfare, led by the mysterious David (Jeff Daniels), who have been watching the citizens of Chicago for years.  They've split people into pure and damaged, and Tris is the only really pure person in the world.  Tris uses this in

The Girl Who Leapt Through Time Starring Riisa Naka, Takuya Ishida, Mitsutaka Itakura, Ayami Kakiuchi Directed by Mamoru Hosoda The Story: Makoto (Riisa Naka), Chiaki (Takuya Ishida) and Kousuke (Mitsutaka Itakura) are friends in high school who spend time playing baseball and discussing plans for summer.  Makoto is a free spirit, someone who doesn't have a clue what she wants to do with her life, and lives a rather carefree lifestyle.  That is, until she stumbles upon a strange person in a science lab and finds a mysterious item, and when she rides home she is hit by a train and dies, but instead of dying she's magically teleported back in time.  Having a new lease on life, Makoto uses her new time travel abilities to help her friends in the most mundane things, as well as try to create a perfect present for herself.  However, as the leaps begin to wind down, can she prevent a tragic event from happening, or will it be too late? Hardcore Henry Starring Sharlto Copley, Danila Kozlovsky, Haley Bennett, Tim Roth Directed by Ilya Naishuller The Story: Henry is a half-man, half-cyborg soldier who suffers from amnesia, and when he wakes up he's being fixed by his wife Estelle (Haley Bennett), before the compound is infiltrated by evil telekinetic mastermind Akan (Danila Kozlovsky), who is breeding the super soldiers for an eventual war.  Henry escapes, but Estelle is kidnapped, and he meets Jimmy (Sharlto Copley), who seems to know Henry and what he is.  He helps Henry battle through hordes of Akan's men to get to his wife. The Synopsis: Russian action film "Hardcore Henry" is the first full-length film shot entirely from a first person point-of-view, by using a mounted GoPro Hero3 Black Edition camera.  It's unique in the style, and the action and stunts were truly amazing, but there was no real story.  However, for a film like this, there really isn't a story needed.  It se

Worst2First:  My Top Ten Favorite Found Footage Films In horror there's several subgenres: vampires, zombies, monsters, psychological thrillers, serial killers, torture porn, etc.  One of those subgenres is found footage, which is almost entirely filmed as if it were found by a third party not involved in the events taking place on screen, and often seen through the eyes of the characters involved.
