Ted 2

Ted 2
Starring Mark Wahlberg, Seth MacFarlane, Amanda Seyfried, Jessica Barth
Directed by Seth MacFarlane

The Story:
Ted (Seth MacFarlane), the teddy bear owned by John (Mark Wahlberg) who was brought to life, has just married Tami-Lynn (Jessica Barth), and one year later the marriage isn't working well.  They decide to have a baby, but due to obvious complications, they have to adopt.  This brings to light that Ted is a property and not a human, so they can't adopt, and Ted loses everything.  Ted and John turn to young lawyer Samantha (Amanda Seyfried) to help make Ted a human in the eyes of the law, meanwhile they're being hunted by deranged janitor Donny (Giovanni Ribisi), who still wants a Ted of his very own.

The Synopsis:
The original "Ted" was a surprise hit, garnering over $200 million dollars.  Seth MacFarlane is one of today's most iconic comedic voices, creating "Family Guy" and "American Dad."  So how would "Ted 2" fare?

Personally, I found it downright hilarious.  The jokes were quick and sometimes subtle, where if you weren't paying attention you'd miss them.  They're incredibly crude and absolutely anti-PC, which is a refreshing thing in today's thin-skinned society, which is probably why many critics have panned this film, but if you're looking for that type of humor, MacFarlane delivers it in spades.  The story doesn't really make a whole lot of sense, but it doesn't matter because the comedy around it makes you believe in it.

There are some downright spot-on cameos in the film that will have you crying tears of laughter.  From Liam Neeson's "Trix" phobia to Tom Brady's...attributes, to the ever amazing Morgan Freeman, "Ted 2" stops at nothing to make sure you leave with a smile on your face.

The Summary:
Just as every bit as funny as the original, "Ted 2" is a fantastic sequel filled with laugh-out-loud moments and a surprisingly moving story at its heart.
