Cloud Atlas
It was a huge undertaking, and not without its risks. "Cloud Atlas" centers around several actors (including Berry and Tom Hanks) whose characters span five centuries and tells a love story as strong as anything you could imagine. Filled with tremendous performances, stellar effects and one-of-a-kind transformations, this epic is truly worth seeing, and Berry gives a stellar performance.

X2: X-Men United
Before the MCU made superhero movies something worth seeing, other franchises tried their hand to make something successful. The X-Men franchise has had its ups and downs, but one of the best in the series is "X2," where Halle Berry plays the X-Man Storm. She performs with high action prowess but also gives Storm an emotional center that made her a compelling character.
#1
Monster's Ball
The film that earned Halle Berry her first Academy Award, "Monster's Ball" focuses on broken people coming together, but secrets could also rip them apart. Co-starring Billy Bob Thornton and Heath Ledger, "Monster's Ball" solidified Halle Berry as a Hollywood A-lister, and proves that she's one of this generation's best actresses.
