Fangoria Presents: Axed
Starring Jonathan Hansler, Andrea Gordon, Nicola Posener, Christopher Rithin
Directed by Ryan Lee Driscoll

In today's world, people lose their jobs everyday.  The unemployment rate is skyrocketing, and families are losing everything.

So, what's Kurt (Jonathan Hansler), a former employee at a very prestigeous company, to do once he's been given his walking papers?

Kill his boss and family, of course!

Kurt takes his wife Steph (Andrea Gordon), his daughter Megan (Nicola Posener) and son Jay (Christopher Rithin) to a secluded cabin in the middle of nowhere for a "second chance" at being a good father and husband, but instead he lures his family there to kill them all - and himself - after killing his boss, whom he has captive in the attic.

After the family discover what Kurt's plan is, of course they fight back and run for the hills - oh, wait, nevermind.  Instead they stay with their deranged husband and father as he enacts his killer agenda with hardly a whimper of protest.  He gave them several chances of escape, yet they remained for some stupid, idiotic reason.  Even after he kills his boss (spoiler alert, but eh, you probably would've figured that out anyway), they remain at his side.

Eventually the family decides to grow a pair and fight back, but is it too late for them to make it out with their lives?  Do we care?  Why was this piece of crap made in the first place?

All answers we never get.  Well, the first question we get an answer to if we sit through the abysmal hour and a half presentation of this incredibly boring and pointless endeavor.  But who has the time for that?  Another question that will never be answered.

Jonathan Hansler, who plays the psychotic father, is well known in Britain for his stand-up performances, which explains why this film is so comedic.  Seriously, the guy is like Jason Voorhees' father, the man just doesn't die!
