Synopsis:

Review:
As soon as the first frame begins, the words "Uwe Boll" flashes across the screen, and I automatically turn off my mind and consciousness, because I already know this is gonna be an unmitigated mess.  Apparently this is a sequel to his 2006 film which doesn't require one, as the only connecting tie is the main villain.

"Seed 2" seems to want to be a "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" or "The Hills Have Eyes" ripoff, and it even fails at that.  Sure, there's an unstoppable huge killing machine who has the IQ of a child (*cough*Leatherface*cough*), and a murderous family (*cough*Hills*cough*), but neither are fully developed nor do we even care.

At a scant one hour eighteen minutes, one would assume that this would be a very quick film, but it felt like "Gone With the Wind," as in it would never end.  The filming is utterly terrible, and the editing is laughable.  They attempt some artistic license by having flashbacks throughout the film instead of a plain beginning-middle-end, but the problem with that is that we see the main characters dying early on, so we don't really give a care about what happened to them beforehand, and it eliminates the shock value.

The actresses are utterly laughable at their performances, and it seems like the director and writer are against female empowerment, as all four of them are plain stupid, boring, vapid and unlikeable.  You actually wish for their demise and - oh yeah, there's "that" twist too - are satisfied with that, but it's not saying much.

The film would be good for a life lesson though, as something you might see on ABC's "What Would You Do?" as they first find a male hitchhiking, and one of the girls doesn't want to pick him up because it's dangerous, but they do anyway and immediately kick him out for being weird.  Not too much later they see the cop hitchhiking, and the same girl who said not to pick up hitchhikers is the first to want to pick the cop up because - it's a cop, she's even wearing a cop uniform!  This could show how we tend to do stuff we don't normally do if someone looks like they're in authority wants us to, like the film "Compliance."  It's an interesting character study - or it would be if it was done right, and in this case it wasn't.

Summary:
What was this film about again?  I know I just saw it, but...um...yeah.

My Rating: D-
