Bad Samaritan Starring David Tennant, Robert Sheehan, Kerry Condon, Carlito Olivero Directed by Dean Devlin The Story: Down on his luck Sean Falco (Robert Sheehan) is a wannabe photographer who has an intelligent girlfriend (Jacqueline Byers), and works with his best friend Derek (Carlito Olivero) as valets for a prestigious restaurant.  They use their jobs as means to rob people who eat at the restaurant, breaking into their homes and stealing just enough to get by, but not enough to draw attention. When snobby, condescending patron Cale Erendreich (David Tennant) arrives in a Maserati, Sean has no qualms with robbing the rich snob's home.  However, not soon after breaking in, he discovers Katie (Kerry Condon), a girl brutally beaten and horse-tied to a chair.  He tries to free her, but has to return to the restaurant before Cale gets wise, so he calls the police. Major Theatrical Releases May 2018

Image
Major Theatrical Releases May 2018 The beginning of the summer season brings some major blockbusters and some I feel will be major flops, from stupid talking dogs to a remake no one asked for, then to the welcomed return of the Merc with a Mouth and a polarizing prequel about one of space's most favorite heroes. Here are the major theatrical releases for May 2018. **THERE WILL BE NO SPOILERS,  Also, dates are subject to change** Bad Samaritan May 4 A poor valet robs the homes of the rich people he drives for, and during one robbery comes upon a captive woman.  He calls the police, and draws the attention of the psychotic home owner ("Dr. Who" star David Tennant), and a dangerous cat-and-mouse game ensues.  Looks to be a promising horror-thriller. Tully May 4 Charlize Theron is a genius.  While other actors get typecast into a specific role (such as Daniel Radcliffe always being Harry Potter, Will Smith a...

Worst2First:  My Top Ten So Bad They're Good Films   We all have that movie, the one we watch in secret, the one we appreciate more than anyone else.  The film that we fight tooth-and-nail for in favor of it being good, but deep down we know - they're terrible.  Then there are other films that are just so awful, they're unintentionally hilarious and therefore are enjoyable to watch just for the sheer stupidity of it. With that in mind, here are my personal top ten so bad they're good films, worst2first... **THERE WILL BE NO SPOILERS** #10 2012 The end of the world never looked so hilarious.  According to the Mayan calendar, the world was meant to end on December 21, 2012.  Almost five years later, it looks like the world is still ticking, but when this film came out in 2009, some people actually considered it a blueprint on how to survive the apocalypse.  It's so bad it's good because seeing John Cusack maneuver his way aro...

The Synopsis: I have been eagerly awaiting this film for many years now, wondering how it would all play out, and even having dreams of watching it.  It's no small thing to say that "Infinity War" was the most anticipated film I've ever come across, one that I felt could claim the throne as my most favorite film of all time.  Did it ac...
